Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
SayMore ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") is a couples conversation card game for iOS, developed and operated by Alina Dauhaliova, based in Portugal, European Union. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Anonymous Analytics
We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to collect anonymous usage data. This includes:
- App open events
- Screen views (e.g., which categories are selected, paywall views)
- Feature usage (e.g., starting a date night session, favoriting a card)
- Subscription-related events (e.g., paywall shown, subscribe tapped)
- Onboarding progress
TelemetryDeck does not collect IP addresses, device identifiers, or any personally identifiable information. All data is aggregated and anonymous. Learn more: TelemetryDeck Privacy Policy
Legal basis (GDPR): Legitimate interest in understanding app usage to improve the product. No personal data is processed.
2.2 Subscription Data
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes:
- An anonymous user identifier (generated automatically, not linked to your identity)
- Subscription status and purchase history
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personal details. Learn more: RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Legal basis (GDPR): Contract performance for subscribers (delivering the subscription service you purchased); legitimate interest for all users (verifying subscription status to provide appropriate app functionality).
2.3 Purchase Processing
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information (credit card details, billing address). We do not receive or store your payment information. Learn more: Apple Privacy Policy
2.4 Crash Diagnostics
Apple may collect crash logs and diagnostics data on our behalf through Xcode and App Store Connect. This data is anonymized and used solely to identify and fix technical issues. You can opt out of sharing diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.
2.5 Locally Stored Data
The following data is stored only on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and is never transmitted to any server:
- Favorite questions you save
- Session history and progress
- Category and level progress
- Onboarding preferences
This data remains entirely under your control.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect any personally identifiable information, including names, emails, location, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers (IDFA). We do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework. Your answers to questions in the app are never recorded or transmitted.
4. How We Use Information
The anonymous analytics data we collect is used solely to:
- Understand which features are popular and how the app is used
- Improve the app experience and prioritize new features
- Monitor app stability and performance
- Understand subscription conversion to sustain development
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Third-Party Services

We do not use any advertising SDKs, social media trackers, or other third-party services.
6. Data Retention
- Analytics data: Retained by TelemetryDeck in aggregated, anonymous form. Individual events cannot be traced back to you. See TelemetryDeck's retention policy for details.
- Subscription data: Retained by RevenueCat in accordance with their data retention policy. Anonymous transaction records may be kept as required by applicable law.
- Crash diagnostics: Retained by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Local data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or clear app data.
7. Data Security
- All network communication with TelemetryDeck and RevenueCat uses industry-standard TLS encryption.
- Local data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID).
- We do not operate our own servers or databases that store user data.
8. International Data Transfers
TelemetryDeck is based in the European Union (Germany) and processes data within the EEA. RevenueCat is based in the United States; any anonymous data processed by RevenueCat may be transferred outside the EEA under standard contractual clauses and applicable data protection safeguards. Apple processes purchase and diagnostics data in accordance with their own international transfer mechanisms. No personally identifiable information is transferred to any party.
9. Your Rights
9.1 Under GDPR (European Economic Area)
If you are located in the EEA, you have the following rights:
- Access: All your personal data is stored locally on your device. You can view it directly in the app (favorites, session history).
- Deletion: Delete the app to permanently remove all local data from your device.
- Portability: Since analytics data is anonymous and aggregated, it cannot be linked to you individually and therefore cannot be exported. All other personal data is stored locally on your device and is already in your possession.
- Objection: Since all analytics data is anonymous and cannot identify you, no personal-data opt-out is required under GDPR. However, you can prevent analytics transmission by restricting the app's network access in iOS Settings.
- Rectification: Since we don't collect personal data, there is nothing to correct.
For GDPR-related inquiries, contact our data protection contact at privacy@getsaymore.app.
9.2 Under CCPA (California, USA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information is collected — see Sections 2 and 3 above.
- Delete your data — delete the app to remove all local data.
- Opt-out of sale — we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
- Non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
9.3 For All Users
Regardless of your location, you can:
- Delete all local data by deleting the app
- Prevent analytics transmission by restricting the app's network access in iOS Settings > Cellular / Wi-Fi (note: this will also prevent subscription verification)
- Opt out of crash diagnostics in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements
- Contact us with any privacy-related questions
10. Children's Privacy
SayMore is intended for adult couples and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app's content (relationship conversation questions) is designed for adults.
If you believe a child under 13 has somehow provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@getsaymore.app and we will promptly delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date and version number at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
